The Lympets Youth Teams are going from strength to strength with over 50 children having registered their interest in playing for the football teams. The plan is to enter under 8s, 9s and 10s teams into the Exeter youth league for this season.
We will be part of the adult club and use the resources that the club has available i.e. changing rooms at Candy’s Field. However, we still need to purchase a lot of youth equipment before the season starts, so any financial help will be welcome.
As with any youth organisation, we need a lot of volunteers, so if you’re interested in helping out on match days or on the organisation side (youth secretary) please contact the main club secretary (George Webster). Any coaching or FA courses that you may have to attend to be part of youth football will be paid for by the main club.
Training, for now, is on Saturday morning 10am-11am. Anyone interested is welcome to come down and try it out, subs are £3.
