The Parish Church will be the venue for our next event, at 7.30pm on Saturday 4th June. That’s when the highly acclaimed Piazzolla Duo (Ruth Avis, flute and Clive Betts, guitar) will be performing from their wide concert repertoire which includes music from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods, as well as more modern works by such composers as Villa Lobos and Albéniz. Then over a much-anticipated weekend in July Lympstone Entertainments are bringing jazz to the gardens of Lympstone, as well as to the Village Hall and other hotspots: Brian Mather, organiser of this exciting festival, gives more details elsewhere on this site.
