Mr Todd Gray talks to us on the subject of ‘Preserving our Past, East Devon and Devon Donor Cards’. The talk will take place on Tuesday 8th March, at 7.30pm, Main Hall, Village Hall. People are being asked to donate their old and unwanted photos to the West Country Studies Library. Cards are often destroyed when homes change hands or during house clearances. The donor cards can be attached to photo albums etc, to instruct heirs or executors to hand the unwanted photos to the library. Todd will give the talk, answer questions and bring his increasing range of books to sell. Without material handed into museums, local history groups and record offices, by individuals of the public, our view on the past would be all the more patchy.
