Who are The Lympstone Players?

We are a friendly, supportive community drama group based in the village of Lympstone, Devon.  We come from all walks of life and enjoy working together to entertain local audiences with a variety of theatrical productions.  Drawing on our collective range of skills, passions, knowledge and expertise, we always aim for excellence and quality in everything we do. Most importantly, we always aim to have fun!

Social Evening: Sunday, 27th September at 7.30 pm at The Redwing.  Meet our members and find out more about how you can become involved in our productions.  Free nibbles!

Playreading: October (details to be confirmed).

Light and Sound Workshop:  Sunday, 18th October at 3.00 pm. Learn more about the technical side of productions.  To be held at the Village Hall.  Complimentary tea and cakes provided. Spaces limited; booking advised.

Storytelling Evening: Friday, 27th November at 7.00 pm at The Wheel House.

Playreading: December (details to be confirmed).

Beauty & The Beast Pantomime, written by Ben Crocker, directed by Matt Hood. Thursday, 10th to Saturday, 12th December at 7.30 pm (Matinee is Saturday at 2.30 pm). Lympstone Village Hall. Tickets on sale from 10th November from The Haven, The Strand, Lympstone.  Tel: 01395-274551. Price: Adults £9 and children £4 each.

Community Nativity Play in Association with Lympstone Parish Church: Sunday, 20th December at 6.00 pm at The Parish Church.  Dress up as your favourite Nativity character and join our scratch version of The Christmas Story.
