Cllr Culhane reported to the Parish Council meeting on 1st September, that in May 2025 a biodiversity survey had been completed on the wild meadow area in Front Meadow. The findings proved that only 50% of what had been originally sown was still present. Having received offers of help from concerned residents this summer, LPC has set up a working group to make recommendations about maintaining and improving the wild meadow area on Front Meadow. The group will also be asked to make recommendations to improve the patch of land off the Avenue as a quiet area of reflection.
Therefore, if you would like to volunteer and get involved with improving the wild meadow area at Front Meadow, and the new patch of NT land south of The Avenue, then please do get in touch!
