Police message

On the 7th June between 6.30pm and 9.30pm a vehicle parked in the village on Sowden Hill had criminal damage caused to its paint work. A sharp instrument was used to damage the side and bonnet of the vehicle. If anyone has any information regarding this crime, please contact police quoting CR/079509/14.

There have been a number of vehicles damaged in this manner of the last few months in the village and a further 4 vehicles have had windscreens smashed. We clearly have someone either living in the village or visiting the village regularly who is causing this damage. I am keen to identify who this person is. If anyone has any information or has seen any person acting suspiciously , please contact me on 101 or via my email listed on the website or newsletter.

Best wishes

PCSO 30110 Sarah Trayhurn
