Police Newsletter

Between 4pm on the 22nd January and 3pm on the 23rd January, a Grey Volkswagen parked in Jacksons Meadow suffered damage to the body work.  If anybody has any information, please contact the police quoting KE/11/204.

Between 9am on the 3rd January and 10am on the 5th January, a property on Strawberry Hill was burgled and a quantity of cash and jewellery stolen.  If anyone has any information or has seen anybody or vehicle acting suspiciously in the area, please contact the police quoting KE/11/324.  I would like to thank the very efficient Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator and a good neighbour of the property for their assistance in spreading the word quickly and letting residents know of the incident.

Once again I would like to remind all residents to remain vigilant at all times and to check your security arrangements.  If you see anyone acting suspiciously, please contact the police.

If anyone would like to sign up to our Community Messaging System (its free!) please contact me on the details below.  The messages can be sent to your phone or by email and it keeps you up to date on what is happening in the area.

Finally… Parking in and around the Strand and Sowden Hill has deteriorated once again and I have been made aware of cars parked on double yellow lines for long periods of time and obstructing junctions and parking inconsiderately.  I will be speaking to the Civil Enforcement Officers and requesting they attend but can I please ask residents to consider their parking.

If you would like to discuss any concerns, please contact me on details below:
