With the lifting of covid restrictions delayed, the Hub will not be organising any activities until at least September this year. COMMUNITY LUNCHES
The monthly hot, 2-course Sunday Lunch will continue to be delivered at home to villagers who are living alone or self-isolating. The Hub has received a very generous donation from the W.I. and also from other individuals, enabling us to continue providing these meals for at least another 4 months. The next lunches will be delivered on:
1pm Sunday 27 June – Roast chicken dinner with veg & carrot cake
1pm Sunday 25th July – Cheesy fish pie with peas and strawberries
1pm Sunday 29 August – Beef casserole, mash with veg and fruit crumble
1pm Sunday 26 September – Roast pork dinner with veg and apple pie
If you would like a cooked meal delivered to you please contact Linda Lyon. Yu will be taking part in our ‘virtual’ lunch with other villagers. Anyone already receiving these meals does not need to contact Linda again as you are already on our list.
The meals are provided free of charge but donations are accepted if you so wish. Just hand a sealed enveloe to the person delivering your meal, with your name on the front.
