Community Lunches: The Hub is continuing to support the provision of monthly Sunday lunches for isolated and vulnerable villagers. The September, October and November lunches will continue to be delivered to people’s homes.
- 1pm Sunday 1st September: Roast pork meal and apple pie with cream or custard
- 1pm Sunday 31st October: Sherherd’s Pie and sponge pudding with custard
- 1pm Sunday 21st November: Sausage casserole with rice pudding and fruit
The December Christmas lunch will be held n the village hall where we will also provide some form of entertainment. (Those unable or unwilling to attend will still get their meal delivered to their home). We would also like to invite other in the Community to come along to December meal and also request more volunteers to help organise this. Please contact Linda or Jenny.
- 1pm Sunday 19th December: Roast turkey dinner with Christmas pudding and cake

The Hub is also supporting more events this year such as the Freecycling Days (October) and the Advent Windows (December). If any individual, group or society in the village would like to organise a community event and needs support, please contact Linda or Jenny.
