LYMPSTONE LIVING ADVENT
Yet again I have been overwhelmed by the number of people who have volunteered to light up Lympstone with advent windows – thank you!
The festive season is a time to gather with family or friends and share meals together. But in these unsettling times, both at home and abroad, this is not something everyone can hope for. At home, Exmouth Foodbank is under increasing pressure for its services; in Ukraine, its people are enduring unimaginable hardships.
Featuring the artwork from this year’s Advent Windows posters and maps, I’m planning to produce badges and fridge magnets to raise funds for those less fortunate than ourselves. I hope to sell them at as many village events as possible during November and December with all donations going to charity.
Look out for me – badges will be £1, fridge magnets £1.50, cash donations only please.

I am grateful for the support of the Community Hub, Judy Stutchbury, Brian Mather and Sue Mildenhall for their help with this fundraising initiative.
