Our village church is also engaged in environmental action. It is playing its part in growing and preserving wildlife in the way that our churchyard is managed and maintained. You can read more about this in the Parish Church pages. But this is just one aspect of a broader commitment to caring for our planet. In its worship and teaching, management of its buildings and land, community and global engagement and lifestyle promotion, it is trying to adopt climate and environment friendly ways of living and to encourage all of us to do the same. It does this as part of the Eco Church movement and has recently won their Silver Award..
