We are looking for volunteers to become Swift Champions near Lympstone church. The role is very straightforward and involves taking part in just one or two short surveys during the swift breeding season (typically on a warm evening in early summer June/July). Surveys usually last around 30–60 minutes and simply involve watching and noting swift activity around buildings. Full guidance and support can be provided, and no previous experience is needed, just an interest in wildlife and a little spare time.
