Wonderful Villages Photo Competition 2021
A national photographic competition has just been launched which could mean you winning up to £1000 for your village hall and £500 for you as the photographer.
‘Wonderful Villages 2021’ is accepting new and existing photographs which give a sense of rural village life and community spirit. What to choose from when we have such a range of groups and activities in Lympstone…The Furry Dance? The Heathfield Allotments in all their abundant glory? The fish queue on Fridays? The musicians practising on Saturday morning on the Strand? The harbour area on a sunny weekend? The good news is that you can submit as many images as you wish to the competition, so no need to agonise.
The judges will be interested in the stories your images tell rather than the absolute photographic quality, so smartphone images are as acceptable as shots from your SLR camera.
