My name is Karen and I live in Lympstone. I am a spinner, weaver, dyer, knitter and do crochet. I am writing this piece to see if there is any interest in starting a wool craft group for people in the village and neighbouring areas.
There are other spinning groups in Devon, but very little in this area. A group of us have started to meet up regularly and thought there might be other people who would enjoy joining the group.
Therefore, if you are a spinner, weaver, dyer, felter, knitter, or do crochet or any other like craft, or would like to learn, then please contact me at karen@ballandkin.me.uk giving an idea of your interest.
We currently meet every other Friday from 10.00 to 12.00 and would look to continue meeting at this time if a suitable location can be found. Cost would be set to cover any hall hire fees.
