DEVON OPEN STUDIOS
Local Lympstone Artists to take part in the Devon Open Studios this September Potter, Bernice Fynn and watercolour painter Judy Stutchbury, will be taking part in the Devon Open Studio event during September . Judy’s working studio, which is situated in Chapel Road, Lympstone, will be open from 10 a.m – 4.30 p.m. on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th, Thursday 12th – Sunday 15th and Thursday 19th – Saturday 21st. On Sunday 22nd of September we will close at 4.00p.m.
This is an opportunity to meet them both in a working studio and view the wide range of original work by these two local artists. Bernice, who has a pottery studio in Woodbury, will be sharing Judy’s studio space to show her latest work and provide up to date information on courses that she will be running through the Autumn. Since moving to Lympstone in 2020, Judy has been keen to participate in the active artistic life of the village, attending courses and contributing images to the Herald, the Allotment banner and a variety of promotions for village events as well as submitting work to the annual Art and Village shows We will extend a warm welcome, if you only wish to view or buy, it is lovely to share our work with others. So do come and visit us, and whilst you are in the area call into the Seaglass Gallery just around the corner where there will be more local artists work on display.
