Craning In, Lympstone harbour

Craning in, Lympstone Harbour, Weds 12th-Thursday 13th April
This is the annual craning in of boats ready for the summer’s sailing. During this potentially dangerous operation, the harbour will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians.
A large mobile crane will arrive in the village mid- to late afternoon on Wednesday 12th April and depart early afternoon on Thursday.
Owners of vehicles normally parked on the route along Nutwell Road, thence to the Harbour via Burgmann’s Hill and The Strand, particularly those using the parking bays on The Strand furthest from and in sight of the railway bridge by the shop are asked to co-operate as usual in parking with extra care.
