It’s the women who enchant in Mike Newell’s film of Elizabeth von Arnim’s much-loved novel – Miranda Richardson, Josie Lawrence, Joan Plowright and Polly Walker, bonding on an Italian holiday.
Pre-Interval Illustrated Talk by Martin Fisher
Martin follows his acclaimed talks on Hollywood with insights into what made the golden age of British film so memorable and successful. Each talk will start at the usual time of 7:30pm and form the pre-interval session of our March and April screenings. Free to members; included in admission if you pay at the door.
Films start at 7:30pm (doors open at 6:45pm)
