Lent 5 week course ‘Revisiting the Old Testament’

Lympstone Parish Church: Lympstone Lent Course “Revisiting the Old Testament’
Do you dip into the Old Testament these days? As an opportunity to revisit its pages, we are offering five meetings on Tuesday afternoons at 2:30 pm when there will be a chance to refresh our memories of the stories and message of the scriptures Jesus knew so well.
1) Tuesday 20 February – ‘In the beginning – what?’ Creation, led by Geoffrey Wrayford
2) Tuesday 27 February – ‘Songs from the heart’ The Psalms, led by Demelza Henderson
3) Tuesday 6 March – ‘How strange the change’ The Minor Prophets, led by John Courtie
4) Tuesday 13 March ‘Why me?’ Job and suffering, led by Sue Jones
5) Tuesday 20 March – ‘A little sleep, a little slumber’ Wise words from Scripture, led by Trevor Jones.
You will be welcome to be part of this experience, meeting firstly on Tuesday 20th February, at 2:30pm at Flat 2, The Manor House, Burgmann’s Hill, by kind invitation. Bring a bible.
Other meetings venue to be arranged.
