Scarecrows for Open Gardens
One of the highlights of Lympstone Open Gardens this summer will be the scarecrows dotted around the village. Entrance to the scarecrow competition is free, and there’s a special ‘Scarecrow Making Drop-in’ on Saturday 24 June between 9.30-1pm in the nursery, opposite the church. Here you can pick up early ideas and tips for making your own scarecrow, collect a free bag of straw for stuffing and also get an entry form. It should be fun!
