Friends of Underhill Surgery have provided hospital transport or prescription collections for 190 bookings between 1st April 2010 and the middle of January 2011. This valued village service is available to anyone registered with Underhill Surgery and resident in Lympstone, and is served by a small, dedicated group of volunteers who would welcome new volunteer drivers. Transport costs continue to be competitive – RD&E (£8 return), Exmouth Hospital (£3 return), Underhill Surgery (£1). Details are available at the surgery. With our modest financial surplus we are pleased to have purchased baby scales and soon a foetal doppler, for Underhill Surgery. Thank you for your continued support.
