Sea Scouts to restart in Lympstone

Sea Scouts to restart in Lympstone

The recent open day aimed at restarting the Scout movement in the village has proved very successful.  As a result of the event a Beaver leader came forward in the shape of mum Catherine Escott from Exmouth and a Beaver Colony for children aged six to eight is starting in September.

A provisional start date has been given as September 14th.

About thirty children and their parents have so far shown interest in joining Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. We have recently found a volunteer to run Cubs in the village and we will make further announcements about this during the Autumn. We are now looking for a Scout leader to enable us to complete the group.

Volunteers please call 01395 270157.
