LYPS (Lympstone Young People’s Society) was founded in 2005 and meets in the Youth Hut on Candy’s Field.
Activities include outdoor sports and games, table tennis, pool table, air hockey, pinball, Wii and X-box. Refreshments sold, chips and chicken nuggets, hot and cold drinks and sweets.
All sessions are run by CRB checked volunteers and parent volunteers are also welcome!
Anyone of suitable age, who lives in Lympstone or has been a pupil at our primary school can be a member.
SESSIONS are held on FRIDAY evenings and cost £1 to enter and are usually run as follows:say juniors week 1 and 3 then seniors 2 and 4.
Senior Club (Year 6 +), weeks 2 & 4 – 7pm-9pm. Cost £1 per child.
Junior Club (6 years old – Year 5), weeks 1 & 3 – 5pm to 6.30pm, separate from the seniors. Cost £1 per child.
