Annual Craning-In

ANNUAL CRANING IN
The annual Craning of Boats from the summer moorings to their over-wintering berths on the Harbour hardstanding is due to take place on Saturday 7th October 2017 from 7am. During this potentially dangerous operation, the harbour will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians.
A large mobile crane will arrive in the village mid- to late afternoon on Friday 6th and depart early afternoon on the Saturday.
Owners of vehicles parked on the route along Nutwell Road, Burgmann’s Hill and the Strand (in particular those using the parking bays on the Strand, furthest from but in view of the railway bridge by the shop) are asked to co-operate as usual in parking with extra care.
