Harry and Sheila play a tennis match against invisible opponents Jim and Jane. Harry and Sheila are well beaten whilst revealing more and more about their marriage, and flirting with their opponents.
Gosforth’s Fete by Alan Ayckbourn
Publican Gordon Gosforth is running the village fete, which descends into increasing chaos as Milly Carter’s (bad) news is broadcast across the field, her boyfriend Stewart hits the sherry and Councillor Mrs Pearce’s opening speech ends unexpectedly and dramatically. Meanwhile the Vicar is hardly helping things….
There will also be two musical interludes. Supper will include nibbles, a gourmet ploughman’s and strawberries and cream
