Lympstone Art Group – Calligraphy Workshop

Lympstone Art Group will be holding a Calligraphy Workshop with Ruth Sutherland at Lympstone Sailing Club on 14 January 2015 from 10 am to 4 pm
The day will include an explanation of good preparation, workspace, equipment, how to sit, layout of paper etc. Ruth will explain how alphabets vary, all deriving from historical scripts. You will then begin by drawing pencil letters and then progressing on to pen and ink.
You will also have the opportunity to create painted letters and to decorate these and finally writing out a quote using the script that has been learnt on the day. COST £30
