Coronation screening in the Church

Coronation Celebrations:

The church will celebrate the coronation with displays of flowers around the church by our local and very talented arrangers. This display will not be a full ‘Flower Festival’ but much more
on the lines of the ones seen recently for the late Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, 90th Birthday and the celebrations at the time of the 600th anniversary of the church building in its present form in 1409. They were enjoyed by all who came to see them, so we hope everyone in the village will come and spend some time enjoying the displays over the weekend. The church should
be open 09:00 – 18:00.

The Coronation itself will be streamed live from the BBC on the large screen using the free to broadcast coronation arrangements from 11am.

All who would like to watch the service with others to share this historic event are welcome.

Tea and coffee will be available from 10 until the service ends (the last coronation was 3 hours). You are welcome to come to church and share an experience unseen by anyone under seventy years old!
The Sunday service next day is at 09.30 and will be a Journey service for all with Tom James.
