DORIS DAY IN PAJAMAS
The last Monday Matinee of the Film Society’s season is one of the greatest musicals ever. An exuberant Doris Day stars in ‘The Pajama Game’, a delicious, bright and cheerful movie which gave her several terrific songs and one of her best roles as the head of the workers’ grievance committee who falls in love with the foreman.
Introduced by Martin Fisher, it is being shown in the Community Room of the village Hall on Monday, 20th March at 2.30pm. Film Society members free, or £5 on the door.
