FURRY DANCE CHRISTMAS EVENT
Santa and Mulled Wine : Sat Dec 8th
Plans are well underway for this year’s event. If you haven’t joined in with these festivities before, this is the year to come along. The Village Hall is our new venue, which will offer more room inside and plenty of parking outside. The band will use the stage enabling Roger
Riggs to bring the full Training Band and provide a wider programme, which is a real bonus. There will be ample space for more tables and chairs to accommodate those who like to sit and listen whilst enjoying their refreshments with friends.
Santa is looking forward to driving through the village, so give him a wave as he passes in his chauffeur driven car. His route will take him down Sowden Hill, along the Strand, into Church Road and up School Hill for arrival at the Hall at 10:30am.
The band will welcome him and magical Christmas snow will fall all around. We look forward to a festive atmosphere with our usual old favourites, Santa’s grotto, Christmas draw, tombola, mulled
wine/coffee and mince pies plus an extra surprise or two.
All Welcome:
– 10:15 to 12:30 ( Santa arrives 10:30 )
– Entry £3.00 per adult, to include mulled wine or coffee and a mince pie.
– Children have free entry plus juice and a biscuit but a visit to Santa’s grotto and small gift is £1.00.
