History Society talk ‘Exeter Mint’

After a very enjoyable talk by Mr John Allen, the Society is looking forward to an equally interesting talk by Mr Thomas Cadbury of Exeter’s Museum. The subject is ‘Exeter Mint’, covering a time when the city hallmarked its own silver, with the well known three-towered castle and produced coins.

The talk is on Wednesday, 19th January 2011, 7.30pm at the Methodist School Room, admission £3 to include coffee/teas.
