THE VILLAGE HALL – TAKING IT FORWARD

If you’d be interested in finding out more about how you can help keep this cherished institution up and running, please come along to the hall at 7.30pm on Thursday 18 October for a short presentation, guided tour (including behind the scenes), chat and, of course, a glass of wine. Absolutely no commitment.

We need new blood at the Village Hall to help with its management and day-to-day running. Our long-serving treasurer and bookings manager, Michael Wilkes, will be retiring at our AGM in March 2019 (after 13 years) and we need new, enthusiastic people to take on roles such as customer liaison, social media, marketing, accounting and booking to take the Hall into the 2020s. Most roles can be flexible and fitted to your interests, skills and availability. We’re also keen to hear fresh views on how to develop the hall for the benefit of the whole village community. The only thing we cannot do is move the Hall down the Hill!
