All allocations will be made subject to applicants’ meeting a Section 106 agreement which shows a strong local connection to:

1st Priority: The Parish of Lympstone

2nd Priority: Exmouth, East Budleigh, Bicton and Woodbury

3rd Priority: The administrative district of East Devon

Local connection criteria

  • Applicants have been permanently resident in a relevant priority for 3 out of the last 5 years; or
  • Applicants being formerly resident in a relevant priority for at least 5 years; or
  • Applicants having their permanent place of work in a relevant priority for a continuous period of 12 months prior to advertising (more than 16 hours per week/non seasonal); or
  • Applicants have a written offer of employment; or,
  • Having a connection through an immediate family member who is currently resident in a relevant priority, and has been resident for a period of at least 5 years prior to advertising where it can be evidenced that the applicant either gives or receives support..
