Estuary Flood Gates:
The Estuary Flood Wardens who operate the flood gates as agents of The Environment Agency have, in agreement with the Agency, revised their operating procedures in order to comply with current Government COVID-19 rules.
The team are keen to continue serving the Village through these difficult times, but are currently unable to safely operate two of the flood gates which must therefore remain closed to protect from high tides.
The remaining four gates will be operated as usual.
