Train Operating Companies have launched consultations on the future of railway ticket offices.
Under these proposals, the ticket office windows at both Exmouth and Exeter Central will be closed between October 2023 and June 2024. At St David’s the number of ticket office windows will be reduced, with closure following by the end of 2024. The proposal is to move ticket office staff on to the concourse to assist passengers.
