Lympstone Youth Club (The Youth Hut) re-opened on Saturday for two lively and well attended Halloween parties. The Youth Hut has been given a major refurbishment; a new Seniors Lounge has been created, there is wifi on site, TV screens have been added, there are now two excellent table tennis tables, the pool table has been re-covered, and new games consoles will be in place soon. The Youth Hut has been re-painted and decorated inside and out, thanks to the many hundreds of hours put in by community volunteers. Sofas and flat screen TV’s have been donated. This is a great facility for the village, and we already have bookings for Yoga, Karate, Zumba, Pilates and Brownies. We hope that numbers of Juniors and Seniors attending Youth Club evenings will grow. The Hut can also be booked for children’s parties, and we would love to hear from you if you have any further suggestions for the community use of the the Hut.
