In 2014 the Royal Marines celebrated their formation 350 years before by holding a number of events. On 31st May they carried out a speed March from Exmouth to the Training Camp through Lympstone. The run through the village was filmed and the resulting clips posted on You Tube. Since then it has been watched 94, 000 times.
