The Saddlers Arms has just been awarded two certificates that affirm it’s ranking as one of the best pubs in the area once again!
Scottish & Newcastle Pub company who have well in excess of 1,000 pubs across the country have recently awarded Martin Loader of The Saddlers Arms at Lympstone two framed certificates for his bar and restaurant for coming finalists in two prestigious categories. The first category is BEST FOOD PUB, where not only did The Saddlers Arms become a South of England finalist, but it also was the only pub in Devon to reach the finals. In the BEST MARKETED PUB, again The Saddlers featured as a finalist, coming very close to winning the actual award. The Warm Welcome 2010 awards are marked over various stages including mystery visits and meetings and celebrate all that is good about pubs that are offering high standards in their chosen categories.
The Saddlers Arms is independently run by Martin Loader and his team and with a new Head Chef and kitchen, the reputation of The Saddlers Arms is growing in stature. All food is freshly prepared on the premises, with a new menu being devised at time of writing ready for Spring/Summer 2011.
