Lympstone Beavers’ first fundraiser

Lympstone Beavers’ first fundraiser

The 1st Lympstone Scout Group has reformed with the launch of its first Beaver Colony and now has a waiting list of children aged between six and eight who want to join. Last week the children were given their uniforms with their unique blue and white scarves after a ceremony to invest them into the Scouting movement.

The group now hopes to launch a Cub Pack having successfully recruited some leaders to help with the running of the pack.  It is hoped that a Scout troop will be launched in the new year, but they need some adult leaders to come forward to help.

The Beavers are staging their Christmas Bingo evening at the village hall on Thursday, November 17th from 7.15pm. All families welcome.

For information, or to volunteer as a leader/helper call (01395) 270157.
