You may be aware of some “activity” in the land to the NW of Courtlands Cross – consisting of a pond and some earthworks. At this moment in time there is a considerable degree of hearsay and little fact. The intention is unknown and therefore the need for Planning Permission.
The activity was rteported to EDDC last week and a “Temporary Stop Notice” for the activity in the fields was posted by EDDC on the gate opposite the Courtlands Entrance some time between 3pm and 5:30pm Friday September 7th.
The Notice was removed, possibly by site workers, some time after 7pm so you may not have seen it. The Notice is effective until October 5. More information as it comes to hand – any photos welcome to CllrRobLonghurst@aol.com
